I have never published my own blog, so we will see how this goes. I have, however, been publishing journal posts on Caring Bridge for three years. I will delete any responses that are inappropriate, hurtful, vulgar, or have foul language. I am a Christian who is saved by grace and washed in the blood of the Lamb. If you don't like those kind of posts, then my blog is not for you. That being said, I am more than happy to receive comments that are encouraging. 

As I look back over the past three years, I am amazed at all that God has done. (I truly am amazed as I look back over my whole life.) The past three years have been the roughest. My husband, Jarrod, was diagnosed with three types of Stage 4 Lymphoma. That was in early 2009. He is still alive and in remission. It would take much typing to tell the whole story. Suffice it to say, God is good. When I look back over that rough time in our life, I would not trade what God did in our lives. I will admit that there were days when I didn't know how to make it, but I knew that I needed to keep strong for Jarrod and our boys. The Lord was always there with us helping us. So many family members, friends, and even strangers around the world lifted Jarrod and our family up in prayer to God. There are so many people out there hurting.  I hope that we can  make our time of trial a time that causes us to be able to help others going through the same, similar, or totally different trials. As I wait for an appointment with the MS specialist, I pray the Lord gives me the grace that my husband had in his sickness.

May the Lord bless each and every one of you and give you what you need. If you do not know Him as your personal Savior, then today is the day to ask Him to save you from your sins. That doesn't mean you will be sinless, but you will have the Lord to guide you.
