Well, I have not posted in several weeks. Things have been quite busy. The day after I published my last post, my mom was taken by ambulance to the hospital. She was quite sick for several days. Her kidney function was down to 15%, and her calcium level was dangerously high. The Lord finally got her mostly back to normal. Her primary care doctor found that her parathyroid level was 170. (It should only be 70.) She had a scan Tuesday to see what is still going on to cause it to go up so drastically.
The boys just came home ,Tuesday, from being with my husband's parents for 3 days. My husband and I were able to go on dates. We missed our boys, but we enjoyed our time also. I believe that spouses need to take spend quality time together. We, however, should always keep the Lord at the center of our home.
I received a call from the office of an MS specialist in Nashville, TN. I will have an appointment in October. That seems so far away with the way I have been feeling. The Lord knows what is best, so I just have to place it in His hands and leave it there.
Thank the Lord for the much needed rain! We had been in a drought for quite sometime. Within the last week, we have received three days with much needed rain. The tornado warnings have been a bit scary, but the Lord has protected us.
May the Lord bless each of you.
